# ApexCode

ApexCode is a product studio building self-hosted software for the agent era. Products are licensed once, deployed on the customer's own infrastructure, and maintained for the long run. Every product ships a full REST API and an MCP server as first-class interfaces — built for the humans who buy it and the agents who use it.

## Products

- [Beacon](https://apexcode.dev/beacon): Messaging layer for autonomous agents — a dedicated phone number, conversation threads, contacts, and OTP verification, with a full REST API and MCP server (30 tools, 17 resources, 9 prompts). Live in beta as a self-hosted product; a hosted version is on a waitlist.

## How products ship

- Self-hosted first: Docker image (`ghcr.io/apxcde/beacon`) or Composer install via the private registry at packages.apexcode.dev, unlocked with a license key.
- Licenses are one-time purchases and never expire; the purchased version keeps running whether or not it is ever upgraded. Updates are included for one year and land through the customer's license portal.
- Source-code licenses with white-label and modification rights are available on custom terms.
